After years of dancing, competiting and teaching, Miss Kristin decided it was time for tap to take center stage in Lancaster County. In hopes of a small company willing to sacrifice their Sundays, Miss Kristin set out to complete her master plan. MK Tap came to be and with Debbie and Nancy's blessings, Kristin took to the internet and began recruiting her tappers and creating excitment. Five months later, MK Tap has grown to 30+ dancers eager to start dancing! More than she ever imagined! Here are some interesting facts about MK Tap: 1) MK Tap is Lancaster's first and only tap company!
2) MK Tap has dancers from 5 local studios. Thank you SILVER SPRING DANCE CONSERVATORY, CRICKET'S PERFORMING ARTS, ENCORE DANCE CENTER, LITITZ DANCE ACADEMY and WILLOW STREET DANCE STEPS for your talented dancers. 3) MK Tap has dancers from as far away as Michigan! 4) The tappers are also trained in jazz, contemporary, modern, ballet and unicycling too! Well...at least one of us can unicycle. 5) Our members are students, mothers, teachers, financial advisors, college admission counselors, marketing specialists, forensic scientists, dentists-to-be and so much more! 6) Miss Kristin is a sucker for dogs.
